Ideally you either will be a journalist or have a journalistic background but also understand the variety and pace that a communications consultancy can offer. This role is client facing so will suit someone who is comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders and enjoys the visibility of being the “go to” person in this space. This role will support international clients creating thought leadership pieces for senior executives to ensure business have an opinion in emerging corporate topics. You will have an eye for detail and understand subtle nuances to get tone of voice for high profile clients covering long and short form written content, social media posts and editorial work. We are looking for someone working at Senior Account Manager or Account Director level in a communications consultancy or a fast paced in-house communications team. You should have developed a balanced level of all round PR and corporate communications skills including media relations, team work, budget and client management but have the desire to really focus on expert writing. Clients could cover the technology, food and drink, health and travel sectors so you will be comfortable being flexible and switching your mind set to different audiences in order to develop key messages for clients.
