This is a rare opportunity to combine more traditional medical education communications experience with being a project lead on high-profile client events and global masterclasses. It is a highly visible role, allowing you to really take ownership for onsite client work and masterminding global events (whether that be live or online). If you thrive combining your med ed communications experience with you organised, solutions focussed approach then this could be a great fit. Our inclusive and talented medical education specialists are currently looking for a Senior Account Director (or Account Director stepping up) for a 12 month contract. You will split your time 50/50 on being a strategic advisor to client on their medical education communications strategies and being the lynchpin on logistics for high profile client events. Working across a range of mainstream therapy areas (e.g. oncology, mental health, obesity) you will be the “go to” person for clients to ensure strategic direction is met as well as being happy to be hands on in ensuring high quality execution. You will also be responsible for organising global masterclass events and be the ever unflappable presence to ensure everything runs smoothly, whilst building your professional experience as well. Working with a grounded and fun team and clients you will need to be an outstanding multitasker and project manager. You will be able to utilise your experience working in med ed communications and your highly organised nature to take full ownership of client projects to ensure successful delivery, whilst having the opportunity to develop innovative new ways of working. Our specialist medical education team are looking for an Associate Director to be a true leader when it comes to client work and team management. As an expert with substantial experience working in medical communications, you will be able to advise UK and global clients across a range of therapy areas such as oncology, haematology, cardio vascular and obesity. You will provide the strategic direction for their communications programmes and projects and be the lead on developing and ensuring implementation of all 2021 initiatives.
